Bayside Riding
Club is a family business located on St. Martin's Nature
Marine Reserve, Le Galion Bay; and, what better way is there
to see the Reserve than from horseback. St. Martin's Reserve
is a one and a half mile white sand beach with scenic trails
and spectacular views. All Bayside Guides are French Federation
Certified for your safety.
Bayside has horses for first time riders as well as riders with
more experience; and, offers one or two-hour beach rides along
St. Martin's most beautiful secluded bay. The one-hour ride takes
you through the Reserve and along the beach and returns to the
stable. The two-hour ride offers a swim with your horse in the
crystal clear waters of the bay with a stop for a complimentary
drink at Tropical Wave, a restaurant set at the far end of this
majestic beach. For accomplished riders, we offer one-hour private
rides where you can enjoy an exhilarating canter on the beach
and a swim. You can also add champagne to your ride. Or maybe
you would prefer the Sunset ride or the Full Moon Rides, which
are available three days before and during a full moon. By the
way, weight and height are very important to a rider's stability.
Our weight limit per rider is 230lbs.
The Riding Club has recently expanded their stable by acquiring
six new Paso Fino Creole horses. These horses are small,
but very strong. Their gentle nature and easy going way is a
treat for all riders from beginners to experienced. We have used
these types of horses for many years and find them the best for
our beach rides through the reserve. The new group includes a
Pinto named Tommy, a white mare named Tryst, a brown roan named
Houdini, a Bay with white blaze named Rocky, a white gelding
named Bolero, and a silver grey named Slate. To understand what

Bayside is a complete riding and training center offering lessons
for all levels of experience in a quiet, picturesque setting.
Pony rides are available with a handler for children 7 years
and under, which is a great way to put a smile on your little
one's face. For those of you, who really like to ride, ask about
