Random Wind Charters is a family run business established in December 1995; and, we are proud to mention that we were able to add two more boats to our fleet in the last three years. The mother ship, "Random Wind," has traveled twice around the globe before settling down with Saint Maarten as her home port. She now enjoys the warm Caribbean breeze, the beautiful sunsets, and the family fun that spreads around when people are on her sturdy decks.

Random Wind is a traditional sailing clipper, 54 ft length, ketch rigged, and well maintained. She offers people a lot of desk space, both in shade and sun. It is all nicely covered with custom cushions; and, since the sea-railings are of solid stainless steel, there's a ton of space to sit, lie-down, hang on to, or just relax. Also, the inside of the boat provides plenty of comfort with a large bath/changing rooms, salon, large galley and two beautiful state rooms. All electronics are up to date and she is ready to take on another big trip, if we didn't have our kids in school.

She caters to everyone's needs when it comes to food and beverages. There is an open bar with beer, soda, liquor and bottled water. Tuna and egg salads and other crispy bites are provided in the morning for snacks, a great Caribbean style lunch during our 2nd stop, and later in the afternoon, time for some chocolate bites. She carries a crew of two, one captain and one hostess, but could also be available for "Captain Only," if you wish…

Besides the "Random Wind" for Day Trips, Half Day Tours and Sunset Charters, we also offer our fast island run about "Random-ly;" and, for easy going groups, we can tour you past the homes of the rich and famous in "At Random." Both "Random-ly" and "At Random" provide great fishing tours, water taxi runs, calm lagoon cruises and seeing Mega Yacht Boulevard. They can all come in combination with some snorkel stops. Whatever your preferences, your crew knows all the idyllic spots, the salt stories to tell and will have the pleasure of giving you an unforgettable experience.
